UCR’s Annual New Student Convocation will take place on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 4:45 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center
All incoming freshmen and transfer students are encouraged to attend this ceremonial induction into the UCR family designed to promote the shared values of the university – free inquiry, intellectual honesty, personal integrity, and respect for human dignity.
The ceremony will begin with a formal procession of faculty and administrators in full academic regalia. Chancellor Timothy P. White, Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs James W. Sandoval, and Associated Students President Stephen Lee will present remarks.
Faculty registration is now open.
Immediately following the Convocation, please stay for the traditional R'Side Rally and R'Side Celebration at the HUB.
